Eswar brings a global perspective to education advising shaped by his own international school upbringing and a career spanning finance, leadership, and executive coaching. Raised in Tokyo, he attended St. Mary’s International School before studying at the London School of Economics and earning his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Professionally, Eswar has worked across investment banking, venture investing, and large-scale energy and infrastructure finance, advising governments, organizations, and senior leaders across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. A certified leadership coach, he works with founders, executives, and families on decision-making, personal development, and long-term strategy. As a Senior Advisor to Basso & Basso, he also contributes perspective on the firm’s advisory approach and family engagement.
With Basso & Basso families, Eswar brings a coaching lens to the admissions journey, helping parents clarify educational values, developmental priorities, and the long-term path they envision for their child. This early reflection often shifts the school search from rankings or reputation toward learning environment, fit, and long-term growth, strengthening the foundation for thoughtful school selection and placement.
