Angie brings a wealth of international experience as an educator and school leader. Having worked in schools across four countries, she understands both the excitement and the challenges of finding the right fit for each child. Angie served as Director of Admissions at the American School in Japan through 2024 and has also held student support and leadership roles at Korea International School in Seoul, South Korea.
Originally from Ohio, she holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati, an administrator’s license from George Fox University, and a clinician’s license from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Having raised three children abroad—all graduates of international schools—Angie understands firsthand the joys and challenges of living overseas and adapting to new cultures. She brings that insight to her work with Basso & Basso families, helping them feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they take the next step in their child’s education. Angie believes that authentic relationships and a sense of belonging are at the heart of a thriving school community.
